Located in the midsection of the Ojai Valley, Miramonte is located in between the communities of Meiners Oaks and Oak View. With an approximate population of 7,000, this community is bisected by the infamous Ojai bike & equestrian trail that delivers outdoor enthusiasts to the beaches in Ventura. Bordered by the river bottom on one side and the mountains on the other, Miramonte has a relaxed country feel and is conveniently almost equidistant between Ojai and the beach city of Ventura. Lake Casitas; a year-round recreational lake is known for fishing, boating, biking, hiking, and even a small water park is also close by. Modest ranch-style homes built between 1960 and 1980 typify the housing here, several of the developments built on natural ridges overlooking adjacent canyons and open space.
