One of Ojai’s premiere upscale neighborhoods conceived and established by Edward Drummond Libbey in 1920 with the construction of three Spanish-Colonial style model homes remains one of the most sought-after locations in the valley. Characterized by dense, park-like and oak-studded 1- acre parcels, the next phase of housing in this downtown-adjacent neighborhood connected by delightful curving narrow lanes consisted of simple ranch-style homes constructed throughout the 40s, 50s, and 60s. The few remaining parcels would later be picked up and developed with inspired custom residences embraced by the lush natural landscape.
